Amanda is a Unitarian Universalist musician. In her interview, she shared her experiences of growing up in Black Christian churches as a gay woman, her relationships, and how she had become a Unitarian Universalist. This interview was conducted on April 21, 2021 by Yuri Yamamoto as part of a group project for her seminary course, Gender, Women & Culture, at the Shaw University Divinity School.
